The single winner of the biggest-ever Israeli lottery has come forward to collect the prize, 3.5 months after the drawing that yielded a couple NIS 74 million, NIS 55.5 million after taxes.
The couple arrived on Tuesday morning to claim the prize, explaining that upon the insistence of the wife, the husband agreed to check a number of old lottery tickets. Earlier this week they learned that they won the prize of 2009, netting the handsome sum. They explained they have not been avid lottery participants, just buying a ticket from time-to-time.
The couple told lottery officials that family members are unaware of their fortune, and they plan to keep it that way, as well as planning to continue working. They are not going to inform their children, explaining they feel it is best this way.
The couple added that while life will change somewhat, they simply do not know what one does with so much money.

If they don’t know what to do….they can call me – I can give them great ideas.
#1 $20M not after they take 40% its $15M
The taxes are way too high, it’s that way all over
Except perhaps in China where they actually support business these days, and are prospering like no one else.
However I could enjoy living off just the interest on 15 million dollars and G-d willing, never having to worry about anything financial, again.
