It did not take Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu too long to make a decision regarding the bones found at the proposed building site for the fortified emergency room of Barzilai Hospital. Less than 24 hours after the cabinet empowered the prime minister to use his authority as health ministry to usurp the authority of his deputy minister, Yaakov Litzman, the prime minister announced the graves will be moved and the project will move ahead, at the original site. Ashkelon Mayor Dr. Yechiel Lasry praised the decision and announced he is willing to begin construction immediately.
The official announcement was released by officials in the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday, with an explanation that the prime minister’s decision was based on professional considerations only, including the experts in the medical community who opposed the new venue. One of the main points is the fact that the original [now approved site] permits going from the current hospital complex to the new complex underground, something the experts feel is critical during wartime.
The announcement is contrary to the cabinet decision of about three weeks ago, which stated the expert evaluations would be evaluated after a month, but it appears the prime minister has decided and he did not feel a need to wait.
Officials add the cost factor was also considered and the original plan is far less expensive as well.
Needless to say the decision is contrary to piskei halacha released in the name of Gedolei Yisrael Shlita on the matter, Yahadut HaTorah officials are indicating they will convene the faction to discuss the prime minister’s decision, and the matter will of course be brought before Gedolei Yisrael Shlita for a decision and instruction as how to act.

“Needless to say the decision is contrary to piskei halacha ….”
That’s an outright lie. Is Mr. Spira reporting or creating the news?
I heard that some high caliber rebbeim such as R’Mazuz permits the move?!! Is that true Rabbi Yechiel?
