Police on Sunday made additional arrests in the organ trafficking case reported last week by YWN-Israel. As reported, the case involved a former IDF brigadier-general and others, who allegedly ran an international ring that netted major sums to arrange for organ donors for people waiting on transplant lists. Some of the donors of organs filed complaints with police after not being paid for donating a kidney as promised.
Police have now arrested a 39-year-old resident of Tavor man and a 54-year-old resident of Herzliya.
