Racist CNN political commentator Van Jones said that the moment when President Donald Trump addressed Carryn Owens, the widow of slain US Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens, was a crucial moment.
“He became President of the United States in that moment, period,” said Jones, after the evening’s most emotional point was replayed by CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
“That was one of the most extraordinary moments you have ever seen in American politics,” Jones added.
This is the same Van Jones that on Election Day after Trump’s win said “This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was a whitelash against a black president in part.”
Now, Jones sang an entirely different tune.
Part of his remarks following the speech to Congress were:
“He became president of the United States in that moment, period. There are a lot of people who have a lot of reason to be frustrated with him, to be fearful of him, to be mad of him, but that was one of the most extraordinary moments you have ever seen in American politics, period. And he did something extraordinary.
And for people who had been hoping he would become unifying, hoping that he might find someway to become presidential, they should be happy with that moment. For people who have been hoping that maybe he would remain a divisive cartoon, which he often finds a way to do, they should be a little bit worried tonight. Because that thing you just saw him do, if he finds a way to do that over and over again, he’s going to be there for eight years.”

Although I dislike CNN and Van Jones is no exception,I’d be careful labeling him a racist without backing up the claim. What he is really confirming is that he along with most other liberals are purely emotionally charged not allowing much room for logic to assist with decision making.
What Trump did last night was very nice and certainly inclusive, but for Van Jones to suggest that by Trump repeating that kind of action it will make him a great president…. What?! really??! Is anybody home??
Mr. Van Jones is an idiot.
Good stuff go back into obama administration one of the reasons he was cut loose was because of his racist comments as well as his communistic views. Check your facts before you open your mouth
Ywn=fake news
1. Van Jones is a racist!!!! Why does YWN have to be able to back up the claim? The Saul Alinsky ym’sh Radical Democrat Party does it all the time.
He’s a racist!
Van Jones is not a racist. Most of the times he is a sane and intelligent voice on the set. He is definitely saner than Kayleigh McEnany and Jeffery Lord. If YWN would know a thing about Van Jones they would know that he dedicated more than one of his shows to sit with, talk with and try to understand Trump supporters. Simplistic bombastic headlines of this sort are misleading and only serve to ratchet up tensions and hatred.
Nothing racist about what he said in november.He is an objective voice.He assessed Trumps current performance without malice or bias.
Why throw the word racist around so frivolously?
So the loony left racists are finally waking up and starting to realize that America indeed got the greatest President ever. I wonder how long it’ll take for the Trump haters on here to admit to the truth.
