A small reception was held on Thursday afternoon as Flatbush Hatzolah was handed the keys to a brand new, state-of-the-art ambulance.

The ambulance was donated by NY Community Hospital, located on Avenue O (Kings Highway) and East 26th Street. With this latest addition, there are now a total of 8 ambulances in Flatbush Hatzolah ambulance fleet. Seven of them are housed in their garage on Avenue N and Ocean Avenue, while one is parked in the original garage on Ocean Parkway and Avenue M.

The reception was attended by the coordinators of Flatbush Hatzolah, Lin H Mo (President & CEO of NY Community Hospital), and a few members of the community.

NY Community Hospital is affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
