Two known “Israel supporters” in Canada’s Carlton University, near Ottawa, were attacked by Muslims, foreign media agencies report.

Nicky Bergamini, 22, and Mark Klibanov, 20, were targeted by anti-Israel elements, threatened with a machete and the subject of verbal abuse. As they left a bar late at night earlier in the week, ten men speaking English and Arabic surrounded them and began cursing them, calling them “Jew” and “Zionist”.

The two were also assaulted, reporting they are happy they escaped alive. Ironically, Bergamani reports he is not Jewish, but an ardent supporter of the Jewish state.
