Foreign Minister is quoted by Ynet as saying it is evident that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is slowly turning into [Libyan leader Muammar] Gaddafi or [Venezuelan President] Hugo Chavez”.

In the interview with Ynet, the foreign minister continued to address the possibility of the PA (Palestinian Authority) unilaterally declaring statehood, without first reaching an agreement with Israel. The senior minister explained that such a move would have a severe impact on the diplomatic process between Israel and the PA as well as releasing Israel from its commitments regarding agreements signed between Israel and the PA over recent years.
