Israel is among the leading countries in medical device patents per capita. A device that can remove a small breast tumor in a 10-minute office visit, a pair of glasses that allows a patient with advanced ALS to use a computer, and a program that can help diagnose disease by listening to the sound of your voice are a few examples of local innovations that may shape the future of medicine.
MEDinISRAEL Conference and Exhibition from March 6 to 8 at the Tel Aviv Convention Center will host thousands of executives, government decision-makers, and renowned innovators from all over the world, like Dr. Daniel Kraft of Singularity University in the US, and Dr. Jan Kimpen of Royal Philips in Holland, presenting talks and panel discussions on issues at the forefront of the global health-care agenda.
The parallel exhibition will showcase over a hundred of Israel’s life science companies presenting their newest developments in areas like medical devices and health care IT. The innovative devices and technologies described above, along with many more, will be on display in the Exhibit Hall.
