Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotevely on Wednesday, 26 Shevat, called on President Reuven Rivlin to pardon IDF soldier Sgt. Elor Azariya. The young soldier, who was found guilty of manslaughter, was sentenced to 18-month imprisonment by a military court on Tuesday. He begins serving his sentence on 7 Adar 5777. http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/news/israel-news/528575/azariya-begins-serving-manslaughter-sentence-in-march.html
Hotevely referred back to the “300 Bus” affair set a precedent and the uniqueness of the Azariya affair compels presidential intervention towards preserving national unity and to safeguard the nation’s trust in the IDF.
Other MKs are also calling for pardoning the soldier, with some explaining “the family has been through hell and it has affected the health of the parents”. Interior Minister Aryeh Deri stated the soldier erred in judgement but should not be failed – calling for an immediate pardon. He feels the ten months he was compelled remain on base was sufficient punishment for him.

The body was left for dead, left to die, shunned in case it would cause an explosion, so
you can’t kill a dead body so if you want the body not to continue dying you rush it to a hospital
so no attempt to revive the body was made so who is guilty? those who failed to revive the body
or those who endangered the lives of IDF soldiers by failing to protect them from an imminent explosion
or the brave soldier who assured that no expulsion would occur?
She should rather call for people to listen to daas Torah and not serve in this atheist army.
In time of war you go for the kill. Thank you idf for being gods messenger to protect us
