Shlomit Peretz and her children on Wednesday visited the Kissufim area of the Gaza border to get a first-hand look at the location where her husband Major Eliraz Peretz HY”D and their father fell in the line of duty, in a shootout with terrorists on last week as was reported (http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/article.php?p=52588) by YWN-Israel.

Mrs. Peretz felt that she and her children must see the location, to enable her to explain to them that their abba was a hero who died for Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael.

Mrs. Peretz and the children were escorted by IDF officers who explained the chain of events that led to her husband’s death along with Staff Sergeant Ilan Sabyatkovski HY”D.

Mrs. Miriam Peretz, the officer’s mother, told Kol Chai Radio on Thursday afternoon that Am Yisrael must daven hard, to bring Moshiach and she is confident that eventually, she will be reunited with her late husband, as well as her sons Eliraz and Uriel, who also fell in the line of duty.
