The Brisker talmid yeshiva affiliated with the ‘Peleg Yerushalmi’ arrested for not reporting for IDF registration has been released.
Many were present to give him a hero’s welcome when released on Wednesday 19 Shevat.
Avraham Zelig Farzichtrer, who was arrested last week during a protest at the Jerusalem induction center on Rashi Street, was detained after authorities learned he was wanted by military police. He was imprisoned for ten days and released. A seuda was made in his honor in Beit Shemesh.
For Avraham, he told participants he merited to be MeKadesh Shem Shomayim by being arrested.
Following the seuda he visited rabbonim in the city affiliated with Peleg Yerushalmi and received brachos.

If he thinks he was “makadesh shem shamayim,” then he needs psychiatric help. His arrest and the riots in his name were nothing more than a chillul Hashem.
Wow-what a kiddush hashem he made.Being responsible for hundreds of thousand of hours of bittul Torah as his misguided suporters closed their gemaras and proceeded to waste other Jews time and resources.
