The eviction continued into the afternoon as sunset was nearing. Police liteally detained one person at a time among those resisting – four policemen per person. There were shouts of “Don’t be robots” in an effort to persuade police to refuse orders and not take part in the eviction.

In other cases, there were shouts of “take pictures! Take pictures!” for fear police were manhandling a 16-year-old – abusing their authority.

A number of additional border police arrived at Hadassah Hospitals in Jerusalem for treatment of light injuries while some of the others who arrived earlier were released.
