The IDF was sadly humiliated in Chevron during evening hours on Wednesday, not to mention the fact that the soldiers were fortunate to escape, most without injuries. Three soldiers were transported to a hospital for treatment however and as of Friday morning, one remains hospitalized.
A group of soldiers taking part in a running exercise, wearing jogging clothes not IDF uniforms, went for a run in the Chevron area. While the soldiers warned their commander he was heading in the wrong direction, he opted not to take their warning to heart and they found themselves in the heart of an area currently occupied by the PA (Palestinian Authority), known as Abu Sneinah.
The soldiers, members of Shimshon unit of the Kfir Brigade were verbally abused and assaulted, some of their cellular telephones were stolen and they took a beating.
After being surrounded by tens of Arabs, Israel’s “peace partners” ordered them to remove their shoes, at which time they were targeted with rocks and assaulted. Perhaps even more amazing and pathetic is the fact that the one soldiers, the only one with a weapon, refrained from firing in the air and then at the assailants, perhaps the result of the realization that too often when soldiers fire, they find themselves in prison and court, the result of the leftist influence that has effectively tied the hands of many commanders.
An investigation into the disgraceful incident is ongoing and the commander who took the incorrect route will be held responsible. The soldier who did not use his weapon will most likely face charges as well.

This is what you call humiliating or embarrassing, wrong-wrong(sounds like a Haeretz, anti-Israel news column)
This was a miraculous escape from Arab terrorists and gratitude to GD is necessary. A haughty, ‘know it all’ commander should be reprimanded.
Gratitude to G-D? No such thing in zionist theology.
The last 2 paragraphs of opinion have no place in a news report.
What a disgusting comment by Volvie. You’re going to tell me my family members who are staunch zionists, have no gratitude to God?
Gratitude to G-D? No such thing in leftist philosophy.
That’s better, but I am sure there are some leftists who have gratitude.
Who said these holy soldiers were leftist or believe in leftist philosophy? Negative, negative, will get you no where fast.
