The government of Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto is taking exception to the Israeli prime minister’s praise of a border wall to keep out illegal immigration.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Twitter Saturday that “President Trump is right” for building a wall.
“I built a wall along Israel’s southern border,” he wrote. “It stopped all illegal immigration. Great success. Great idea.”
Mexico’s Foreign Ministry said in a communique that it had expressed its “profound surprise, rejection and disappointment in the prime minister’s message on Twitter” to Israel’s ambassador. “Mexico is Israel’s friend and should be treated as such.”

Really stupid comment. This is none of EY’s business. Netanyahu shouldn’t stick his nose into a U.S. fight with Mexico unless he simply wants to call attention to himself. All he did today is suck up to Trump and alienate Mexico.
Netanyahu is a moron. He should keep his nose out of things that are none of his business.
He’s not the only one suckling up to Trump. It won’t be long before Mexico is ducking up too.

#1 and #5 FYI Mexico is not a member of the UN security council. It did not vote on UN Security Council resolution 2334. It did not vote against Israel. Netanyahu is injecting himself into a fight that has nothing to do with him.
Netanyahu is unwittingly placing all yidden in Mexico in a very uncomfortable position. Problem is he can’t backtrack on his statements as it would rub Trump the wrong way. Often the best policy is to keep one’s trap shut!
You are all forgetting. In Trump’s interview with Hannity, President Trump praised the idea of the wall Israel built. So I turn Netanyahu was only responding to a statement made about Israel.
