Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Wednesday met with Catherine Ashton, High Representative for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy of the European Union (EU). The two met in Jerusalem for 75 minutes, following her meeting with PA (Palestinian Authority) officials in Ramallah.
At a joint press conference following the meeting she called for “serious negotiations” which she feels are essential to solve the “Jerusalem problem”, exhibiting a profound understanding regarding the realities of the Jewish People and Yerushalayim.
The foreign minister addressed the growing Iranian threat, calling upon the European community to take immediate action to halt Iran’s nuclear program.
