A tefilla event for small children, talmidei torah from around the country, got underway on Monday afternoon at 2:00pm. Buses are brining children from talmidei torah from around the country, endorsed by leading rabbonim from the ashkenazi and sephardi community alike.

Rabbi Baruch Birnbaum, an organizer, explains that he only had 2-3 days to prepare and that is why all talmidei torah will not participate, due to the logistic time realities. He feels that the event is imperative, explaining “erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan is an Eis Ratzon” and the fact that the children, “tinokot shel raban” are gathering, is “our most powerful weapon during this most difficult time,” citing mounting world pressure against Eretz Yisrael and many more issues, including traffic deaths.

The tzibur is invited as well, and a number of admorim and prominent rabbonim are planning to attend, led by Maran Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef, if he feels well, the Kalever Rebbe Shlita, the Bostoner Rebbe of Yerushalayim Shlita, Rav Batzri Shlita, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu Shlita and Kosel Rav Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz.
