France’s foreign minister feels America and Europe must act against Iran, unilaterally if need be.
French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner spoke during a meeting of foreign ministers in Finland, explaining UN approval for sanctions is not expected until at least June, and if the international body does not give its approval. America and the European community must act nevertheless.
He went on to explain that while his country continues applying pressure to accept harsh sanctions, Russia and China remain are yet unwilling to support such a move.
Kouchner explained that if the United States, Britain, France and Germany are unable to receive Security Council approval for increased sanctions, there is a good chance the EU and the USA will impose such sanctions “unilaterally”.
He envisions such sanctions including Iranian banks and insurance companies, as well as canceling entry permits for certain individuals. This would not impact the energy sector he explained; detailing sanctions would not include a blockade of the Straits of Hormuz or an effort to stop oil exports.

If you don’t stop oil exports you won’t stop Iran. Business as usual. Willing to do anything BUT the one thing necessary to stop these monsters.
WellInformedYid, you hit the nail on the head. How about giving the tactical support that Israel needs to wipe out Iran and stopping pressuring her from doing construction?
You are both wrong. Resources, or lack of it, will not cause or prevent a problem. 911 is proof all it takes is sinas chinum. What is needed is political assassination. People are taken out all the time on the world, political stage, except for the ones who should be. Citizens and soldiers should not be at risk because of the ideas of a leader like the one in Iran. Also, the water has been tainted since the world cannot agree on Iran, especially with Hellary Clinton calling off sanctions against Iran.
These problems exist because there are people who profit from them.
