So nice to see that is still going strong. Over 50 years ago I remember what an impression it made on me as a child to participate with 100s of other youngsters from all over England. Then it used to rotate on a 3 year cycle between London, Manchester and Gateshead. What I remember most is how the distinguished rabbonim and roshei yeshiva of that generation used to talk to us boys, not to the adults, and it really made us feel that they valued our learning. Who knows how many boys decided while they heard inspiring drashos that they would dedicate themselves to learning more seriously!
