The center tube of the Lincoln Tunnel was closed for a brief time during the rush hour this morning when police found that was a man walking inside the tunnel, authorities said.
Traffic headed into New York was held at approximately 8:25 a.m. when Port Authority police responded. A 65-year-old man was arrested inside the tunnel about 15 minutes later, Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo said.
No other information on the man was immediately available.
