An indictment has been handed down in the Jerusalem District Court against the Jerusalem Deputy Director of Chareidi Education Chaim Pas for breach of trust.
He reportedly approved funding for a building that is connected a NGO with which he is affiliated including, approving funding for a building for Talmid Torah Zos HaBracha, representing a conflict of interests because the principal of the school, Yaakov Berger. Berger, would from time-to-time lend him money from the NGO for real estate dealings while hiding his connection with the NGO and Berger from the public.
