Visiting Syria on Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated that Arab nations will bring in a new era, a new Mideast, “one without Zionists and colonialists”.
Ahmadinejad stated that his country, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon will stand firmly at one another’s side, against Israel, and if the “Zionists wish to repeat past mistakes, it will result in Israel’s annihilation”.
Joining in, echoing his colleague, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stated Syria must remain prepared for any Israeli response, warning of Israel’s mounting threats and acts of aggression.
Sending a clear message to the White House, the Iranian leader reiterated the ties that connect Damascus and Tehran are strong, and no one would severe those ties.
Regarding Israel, he stated “the Zionists have reached a dead end and their philosophy has come to an end… the threats against the Palestinians stem from weakness”. He warned that if the Zionists “repeat past mistakes, the Arab nations will unite to uproot Israel”.

your photograph implies belief in a very un-Jewish theory of evolution, and is demeaning to apes
Mr. YWEditor, LOL! A very freilichen Purim to all of the staff from Yeshiva World. You guys are the best!
Of course! He hates the idea of a neighboring country where arab muslims can see that if they were Israeli citizens, heaven forbid, they would have a better quality of life than in all the other arab muslim countries combined. And the country, in fact, is a Jewish state.
This should be no problem for many of my Chareidi friends. They said all along that Zionism is dead end.
What’s the shaychus of the picture to the article?
Good point #4 aml.
This rosha unwittingly touched upon a true problem. A little emunah would warm up them and us.
This guy is bananas!
Just as the antisemites blame the Jews for all their ills, also the anti-zionist charedim blame the creation of the State of Israel for all their ills, as #4 aml and #6 Baal Booze are impling in their posting. With HaShem’s help, Israel is here to stay.
Can I make a request that whenever reporting anything about. This ape named Achmadine-jihad you use this picture?
Thanks for considering it.
#4, in the literal sense I hear you, but in the figurative sense being anti-zionist includes the entire Jewish nation. Much like the term anti-semitism, correctly and literally can include many peoples including arabs, it really denotes being against Jews, and not only certain kinds or classifications of Jews.
He forgets that the arabs actually united against us thrice before. Actualy, I hope his dream about a new mideast comes true Bimheira Biyameinu!
#1, this has nothing to do with evolution. Rather, the artist wishes to portray Haman of 2010 as a monkey.
;
It is the seculars who are the anti zionists.
They are the ones giving away everything to the Arabs and leaving the country because they want more of something physical such as money or to “travel and see the world and live in other places”.
beware of PETA

That’s why we keep hearing stories about Israeli students touring dangerous places and getting themselves killed or arrested.
#14 and #15 you are both right.
Zionism has been and is, undoubtedly, an historical disaster for Jews. That is not debatable to any student of history and current events, even with taking into account the benefits it seems to have provided. Rome built bathhouses, and that was beneficial, too. But they also destroyed the Bais HaMikdash. The scales are quite comparable.
And a cursory examination of the number of children of the Zionist elite (and a good amount of their rank-and-file, as well) who emigrate rather than all reinforce that Ahmadinejad happens to be correct that Zionist ideology is long gone as Zionism was, of course , obscenely bankrupt to begin with.
But that is all largely academic, at this point.
So despite Ahmadinejad’s wishes, as long as Jews still live in Eretz HaKodesh and unless some peaceful *bloodless* transition can be arranged, it does look like the State of Israel is not going anywhere until Moshiach’s arrival, may he come speedily in our times.
“who emigrate rather than” should be followed by “stay in Israel,”
#14, Very funny!
