Wednesday Evening News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


An Israeli woman was injured lightly in a rock-throwing attack between Efrat and Tekoa in Gush Etzion.

**A firebomb was hurled at an Israeli bus during the evening rush hour on the Gush Etzion-Chevron Hwy near el-Aroub. No injuries.

**A 2-month-old Jerusalem infant was transported to Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital after choking and losing consciousness. Hatzolah responders resuscitated the infant.

**American Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that due to Iran’s continued refusal to comply with the international community’s demands, there is no alternative to serious sanctions.

**DM Barak is meeting on Wednesday in NYC with UN Chief Bank ki-Moon, after which he will travel to Washington for a round of high-level meetings.
