Responding to the verbal assault against him [link] from Knesset Interior Committee Chairman MK (Likud) Chaim Amsellem, Bayit Yehudi party leader Naftali Bennett promises to continue “being a nudnik”.

“Likud says I am a nudnik and they should not sit with us in the next coalition. So what do they think – they are going to sit with [Meretz party chairwoman MK Zahava] Gal-On or Merav Michaeli?”

Bennett when on and became more cynical, adding “I apologize for being a nudnik and preventing the release of additional terrorists, that I am fighting the building freeze, and that I was a nudnik and insisted appointing Ayelet Shaked as Justice Minister and change the system”.

“The truth – I will continue being a nudnik as this is how I was educated. Regarding matters that I feel are important to our country I will not compromise” he concluded.
