Dubai Police Chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim announced on Monday that the assassination has gone from a “political incident to a crime for Israel and now, a diplomatic crisis for Israel, exposing the Mossad and the outrageous methods used to eliminate Mabhouh”.
Tamim told the Emirates al-Bayan newspaper that the denials on behalf of Israel and Mossad officials are meaningless since his investigators have evidence tying the assassination to the Mossad.
He exhibited an air of pleasure over nabbing the Mossad, stating the passports used were not forgeries but real, making the assumption that Israel possesses the ability to print passports from different countries.

Given that Israel is at war with Dubai, I don’t think much weight can be given to his statements.
If they had real evidence they would be publicizing it (probably posting it online), not merely claiming they have it.

The statement of the police chief seems to follow the standard Arab propganda aline. So far, he has shown no proof.
I don’t think the Mossad would be stupid enough to use the identities of Israelis who happen to hold dual citizenship on false passports.
Fatah, however, stands to gain tremendously by this assassination and framing the Mossad for it.
