Compared to Obama and Clinton and Sanders and Schumer and Pelosi, Trump agrees with Rand Paul and Mitt Romney and a lot of other Republicans who did not support Trump in the primaries. The election is over, and Trump is very cleverly rebuilding a coalition needed to govern.
Putin is not an American citizen so he will have to settle for someone who does not see eye to eye with him.
