13:25PM IL: At least five people have been killed and three injured — some seriously, in a vehicular accident at Aravah Junction. The injured were airlifted to the trauma unit of Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva.
A truck collided head on with a private vehicle. Parents and an infant girl were among the dead. All the dead are related.
The road is closed as a result. Accident investigators are on the scene, seeking to understand the cause of the fatal crash on a clear sunny day.
