The past week has placed Israel’s Fire Service at the front lines, battling hundreds of fires around the country under harsh conditions and without a hiatus. While hundreds of homes were destroyed and many more damaged, there can be no doubt these heroes used all available resources and performed to the max towards savings lives and property.

The Israel Fire Service has become the new hero and children and adults alike have been collecting sweets, foods, baking cakes and buying gifts to show a level of appreciation for the actions of Israel’s firefighters.

In the photos we seen expressions of appreciation directed at fire service personnel in the Jerusalem district.
