El Al’s pilots have announced an end to sanctions after reaching agreement with management. The sanctions have led to flight cancelations and significant delays. As per the agreement the pilots will receive a 7.35% increase in salary and El Al has agreed to cease the policy of chartering planes.
Both sides agreed to meet on Monday, 27 Cheshvan, at which time the official documents are to be signed.
The deal was applauded by the Histadrut national labor federation as did representatives of the pilots and senior El Al management.
