Sunday Afternoon News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


Two Israelis who entered PA-controlled Ramallah unintentionally were escorted out unharmed by security forces on Sunday.

**An Israeli bus was targeted in rock-throwing attacks near Halhoul north of Chevron early Sunday afternoon.

**Three youths were arrested in Elad, suspected of breaking into mosdos on shabbos and making off with money and other items of worth. Police expect to make additional arrests in the ongoing investigation.

**Tank fire was directed at the northern Gaza border fence near Nativ HaAsarah after terrorists were detected in the area around noon.

**Some 3,000 people are expected to take part in the Sunday night Zaka kenos in Tel Aviv, marking 20 years since the founding of the organization.

**Two people sustained moderate injuries and one light in a chopper crash near Latrun.

**A special vaad will be established regarding which rabbonim and admorim will receive VIP permits to enter Kever Rashbi on Lag B’Omer to avoid a repeat of last year’s unfortunate situation.
