The Haifa area police spokesman explains that due to the fire condition, residents have been evacuated from the following Haifa neighborhoods: Ramat Sapir, Ramat Chen, Ramat Almogi, Ramat Ben-Gurion, Achuza, Merkaz Chorev, Romeima, Ramat Eshkol, Begin, Ramat Golda, and Naot Pras.

The residents of these streets are instructed to leave immediately if they have yet to do so. In addition to the fire and smoke gas cylinders are exploding as a result of the fires. Anyone in those areas may dial 110 to reach officials for instructions.

Hundreds of IDF Homefront soldiers and vehicles are being mobilized to assist in the Haifa area as winds are over 65KPH with gusts reaching 100KPH (60 MPH) and the area is totally dry as there has not been rainfall.
