A heavy armed robbery just occurred (7:45PM) in Flatbush on Nostrand Avenue and Kings Hwy. NYPD are combing the area by air and ground looking for three male blacks armed with handguns. (Further details as they become available.)

What’s the difference between a heavy armed robbery and a not-heavy armed robbery?
A heavy armed robbery would probably mean that there were many robbers equipped with lots of weapons and ammunition whereas in other cases one or two thugs hold up a 7-11 store with just a pistol….
Sawed off shot guns, semi automatic macine guns = heavy armed robbery
Knives, pistols = armed robbery
NO NO NO….Heavy armed….means that they were overweight….thats all…No big deal…

Heavily Armed: 10-15 people armed with automatic weapons.
Armed robbery: Couple of thugs with knives and hand guns.
