Tens of thousands are expected to visit the tziyun of Maran HaGaon HaRav Elazar Menachem Mann Shach ZATZAL on Thursday, 16 Cheshvan, the 15th yahrzeit.

With the bracha of Gedolei Yisrael Shlita and under the instruction of HaGaon HaRav Mordechai Gross Shlita, the work on the tziyun was completed ahead of the yahrzeit to facilitate access to the kever for the many visitors. Special security arrangements have been set in place as well, and there are tents for tefilos for men, women and kohanim. A special tent was erected for mincha and maariv minyanim and lighting is in place to provide sufficient light after sunset.

Officials point out that anyone visiting should avoid coming in a private vehicle since there will be no parking available. In addition, in line with regulations from security officials, candles will only be lit in authorized areas, no where else. There will be people monitoring the area throughout the yahrzeit to make sure visitors adhere to regulations.

A special “Tefillas Rabim’ was held at 2:00PM as a steady stream of mispallalim continue heading to and from the Yeshivas Ponevezh Cemetery. A Siyum of Shas is also planned for the yahrzeit by HaGaon HaRav Meir Tzvi Bergman Shlita.

Additional buses will be running from many areas to and from Bnei Brak to accommodate the thousands making their way to the kever. Thousands of booklets with Tehillim and tefilos were printed as well. Persons making their way to the tziyun are urged to adhere to instructions from officials at the tziyun.
