Responding to repeated calls from State Prosecutor Moshe Lador to Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat to seal Beit Yehonatan, activist Baruch Marzel has turned to Jerusalem police requesting a permit to conduct a march in Shiloach.
Marzel, accompanied by Itamar Ben-Gavir, a parliamentary aide to MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, led the march into the Israeli Arab municipality of Um el-Fahm and now, they wish to lead this march to highlight the over 200 illegal Arab structures in the Shiloach area.
The organizers hope to march with several dozen supporters, unwilling to accept Lador’s policy, compelling the implementation of legal action against illegal Jewish structures only, while continuing to turn a blind eye to widespread illegal Arab construction throughout eastern Yerushalayim.
The protest is scheduled to take place near the end of Adar.
