Senior police commanders of Israel Police and the IDF accompanied by public officials on Sunday afternoon 5 Cheshvan visited Kever Rochel ahead of the yahrzeit. Accompanying them was Director-General of Holy Sites Rav Yosef Schwinger and Director of Mosdos Kever Rochel Rav Shachar Freiman.

They reviewed the situation and the plan for the arrival of tens of thousands of mispallalim between Thursday night and Sunday, the eve of 10 Cheshvan to 12 Cheshvan. the yahrzeit itself is on Shabbos Kodesh.

B’chasdei Hashem authorities recently made many arrests of PA (Palestinian Authority) residents who were involved in terror attack directed at Kever Rochel, most taking place on Erev Shabbos.
