Russia’s Foreign Minister: US Can’t Solve World Crises Alone

obpuRussia’s foreign minister on Wednesday said the next U.S. administration would have to work with Moscow to solve world crises, and argued that the peace process in Syria had been “sabotaged” by other countries involved in talks.

Days before the U.S. presidential election, Sergey Lavrov made the remarks on a visit to Greece, a NATO and European Union member that has maintained close ties with Russia.

“If you remember a few months ago (President Barack) Obama said just that: ‘We are the ones who should lay down the rules.’ It may have been arrogant but at least he was honest,” Lavrov said.

“If this is the way our American partners think, it means we will have to go through a painful period of realization that no one can do anything on their own.”

Lavrov met with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias as part of a friendship initiative between the two countries that included multiple cultural exchanges and a visit to Greece in May by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Over the weekend, the Russian navy destroyer Smetlivy reached Greece’s main port of Piraeus before sailing onto the east Mediterranean to join warships backing government forces in Syria’s five-year-old civil war.

Lavrov argued that U.S. backing of Syrian rebels opposed to President Bashar Assad was extending the war.

“Unfortunately on many occasions, efforts for a political resolution have been sabotaged. That is not in accordance with U.N. Security Council resolutions . Some parties are backing extremists aimed at removing the Assad regime,” he said.

“If those resolutions had been carried out in an honest way, the situation in Syria would have already improved.”

He didn’t name any countries. Peace talks have involved U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and the foreign ministers of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iran.

Russia’s relations with the U.S. and its allies came under further strain after Moscow used airpower to back a Syrian government siege of Aleppo, Syria’s second-largest city. Peace talks resumed after Russia halted the airstrikes last month.

“We have seen that after every humanitarian pause, the opportunity is used by the terrorists to strengthen their manpower and weaponry,” Lavrov said.

Athens is keen to maintain close ties with fellow-Orthodox Christian Russia, despite its participation in EU sanctions against Moscow, and a gas pipeline project designed to limit Russia’s regional energy dominance.

Russia is one of Greece’s main trading partners, but business has been hit by the sanctions and a drop in commodity prices.

Lavrov’s trip comes less than two weeks before a visit to Greece by Obama.

  1. WikiLeaks Bombshell: ‘There Is No US Election’

WikiLeaks couldn’t have made it clearer in a series of tweets on Thursday – the US election for the President of the United States is rigged. The establishment have selected their President and by hook or crook she will be “elected.”

WikiLeaks: There is no US election. There is power consolidation. Rigged primary, rigged media and rigged ‘pied piper’ candidate drive consolidation.
    5:47 AM – 21 Oct 2016

On the day WikiLeaks publicized the release of emails from Barack Obama’s personal account, their Twitter account then stated that the outcome of the election was planned from the outset: “What election? It has been clear from the beginning who is going to win. This is, in effect, a power consolidation exercise.”

Considering what we now know about the behind-the-scenes rigging of the Democratic primary, the collusion between the DNC establishment and mainstream media, and the fact Hillary Clinton pushed for Donald Trump’s GOP nomination, can you possibly disagree?

    Are Presidents elected or selected?

WikiLeaks emails from Barack Obama’s personal email account reveal that the Bush administration contacted the future president multiple times before the election, secretly organizing the transition of power.

The 2008 transition had gone down in history as surprisingly smooth. Martha Joynt Kumar, in a book about the transition, said it “was the best in anyone’s memory, in part because 9/11 made everyone recognize that a transition is fragile time.”

Today’s revelations raise questions about why it was so smooth — suggestions Obama was selected by the shadow government, rather than elected by the people, are no longer tinfoil hat territory.

The most eye catching email in today’s leak contains a message from John Podesta about an invitation from President George W. Bush to the “President-Elect.”

Should that have read “President-Select?” Podesta sent the email to Obama before the election result was known.

    But it gets even worse.
The emails show a transition plan was being worked on long before the 2008 election had taken place. According to an attached memo in one of the emails, Obama was already discussing his transition to office with members of the Bush Administration, including then-Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, prior to the election.

“As you have observed in your interactions with Secretary Paulson, he is apparently eager to involve you and your transition team extensively in his policy choices following the election.“

Thanks to WikiLeaks and the unprecedented peek behind the curtains of power they have granted us, the shadow government has been exposed to the light. 2008 wasn’t a smooth transition of power, it was silky smooth power consolidation.

WikiLeaks’ variety of journalism – cold, hard, pristine truth – has more than ruffled feathers. The entire henhouse has gone mad. The ruling party are slavering at the mouth, and mainstream media has never been so easy to see through.

Watch CNN’s Scott Cuomo, the same guy caught lying to Americans about their First Amendment rights, put himself in the running for a Razzie Award after the network pulled an interview with Rep. Chris Collins as soon as he mentioned WikiLeaks.

  2. #2 I wasn’t darshening, just pasting the latest WikiLeaks Bombshell. Hard to believe if it doesn’t come from MSMP, right? Well, WikiLeaks has never revealed anything which wasn’t true. We’ll wait and see.

In the meantime a coup and a counter-coup has commenced to topple Hillary.
