Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has overtaken Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for the first time since May in the ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll.
Trump has a 1-point lead over the former secretary of State, 46 to 45 percent, as of Tuesday morning.
Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson registers at a new low of 3 percent, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein rounds out the field with 2 percent.
Fifty-three percent of likely voters have “strong enthusiasm” for Trump, according to the poll, while 45 percent feel the same about Clinton.
Clinton led Trump by 1 point, 46 percent to 45 percent, in the same poll over the weekend. She held a 12-point lead, 50 to 38 percent, in the poll just more than one week ago.
Voters voiced more enthusiasm for Clinton’s campaign, with 52 percent saying they had “strong enthusiasm” for her and 49 percent stating the same of Trump.
The Washington Post/ABC News conducted its latest poll of 1,128 likely voters via cell and landline telephone interviews from Oct. 27-30. It has a 3 percent margin of error.
Clinton leads Trump by about 2 points nationwide, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of surveys.
Recent polling shows a tightening race between Clinton and Trump at both the national and state levels just one week from Election Day.

it disgusts me how a presidential candidate received the debate questions beforehand. like a student cheating on a final exam-no less. this is a leader?
The polls can show whatever they want but after the latest WikiLeaks of her emails, she’s toast.
2 samples of the emails that Hillary claims “The FBI has no case”:
In one of the email they found: “Foreign Govt donors: all the money is in.” This is enough of a bombshell but it gets even worse.
An FBI source has confirmed that evidence has emerged from the Clinton email investigation that a massive child trafficking and pedophile ring operates in Washington.
According to reports, at least 6 members of Congress and several leaders from federal agencies are implicated in the pedophile ring, which they say was run directly with the Clinton Foundation as a front.
I feel sorry for Mrs. Clinton if she wins and sorry for her if she loses. She wants so badly to win, but if she does, it won’t be much fun starting off her presidency with an FBI investigation and a very larger portion of the constituency not trusting her at all.
Either way the chips fall, it looks like the US’ star is not going to be rising over the next few years and I shudder to think who might come along to fill the power vacuum.
What is America coming to? How low has the US sunk? Why is MSMP (mainstream media propaganda) still highly supporting a G-dless evil candidate who committed the most corrupt crimes in American history; a criminal who’s under FBI investigation among other things, including bribery and fraud offenses, and should be behind bars?
Why are they even talking about voting for this pathetic woman who would’ve been impeached were she already president?
Why would they rig voting machines (to automatically start at 51%) and stuff ballots for a woman who is morally corrupt, a liar, cheater in MULTIPLE debates, thief and murderer (2 more added this week to the Clinton Body Count) and with severe health issues? How much more corruption does she have to undergo to get the handcuffs out?
Hillary is nothing but damaged goods physically and mentally and ostriches are still voting her as POTUS, who, if ch”v, gets elected would – with the assistance of her Muslim close friends – on the very first day hit the nuclear button, Hashem yishmerenu! Sick!
The sickest thing is, MSMP and these ostriches don’t even deny her criminal activities and everything mentioned above (perhaps because nothing that WikiLeaks had revealed AND IS STILL BREAKING THROUGH BY THE MINUTE has proven to be fake, although they’re trying to blame the Russian on everything, probably on her classified email scandals too…) and they’re still voting for her. What is it? Mental block or just plain beheimos?
1. The polls have recently been highly unreliable (perhaps due to changes in how people communicate, and in particular the decline of land lines). In recent elections the error has been enough to change a landslide into a close vote, and vice versa.
2. Polls tend to be off in the direction of those who sponsor the poll (and in this case, that would suggest the polls overstates the Democrats since the polling agency has a left wing bias).

The other day someone challenged me to my comment that Hillary got the questions beforehand on “all” her debates. Believe it or not, CNN found out about it today and were blowing their tops, adding that not only did she get the candidates debates, she also got the Primary debates beforehand!!!!
