Increased Security for Minister Limor Livnat

The Shin Bet has stepped-up security for Minister of Culture & Sport Limor Livnat after two Arabs were seen staking out her Tel Aviv home one night earlier this week. The two were detained and questioned, and one was found to be concealing a knife.

Officials are not ruling out the possibility that the two were on an intelligence-gathering mission to pass information regarding the minister’s routine to terrorist organizations towards perpetrating a future attack.

Another possibility is that they are just illegal PA (Palestinian Authority) residents inside Green Line Israel illegally, found in the construction site near the minister’s home.

Police add it also could have been a Shin Bet evaluation event, seeking to appraise the response of local police near the minister’s home.
