Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu today, Tuesday, called upon the international community to take the necessary step and impose crippling sanctions on Iran as Tehran continues moving ahead, in defiance of the international community, towards nuclear independence.
Iran announced that it has begun enriching uranium at 20%, insisting the purpose of ongoing efforts is tried to medicine and education.
“Iran is racing forward to produce nuclear weapons in brazen defiance of the international community and the international community must decide if it is serious about neutralizing this threat to Israel, the region, and the entire world.
“I believe that what is required right now is tough actions by the international community. This means not moderate sanctions or watered down sanctions. This means crippling sanctions and these sanctions must be applied right now” he stated.

its not as simple as you make it. while it would be good for israel if they could neutralize iran, you have to understand it’s much, much more complicated than you make it sound. iran is a very big country, they are wealthy and influential, and they can supply weapons and pay money to other countries to attack israel.
you also have to understand that the type of enriched uranium needed to create a nuclear weapon is 90%, and in all this time they’ve been able to enrich uranium to only 5%. 20% enriched uranium is needed for the nuclear power plants, and they are, or claim to be, almost out of the fuel for that plant, so whatever gets enriched will first be used as fuel for the power plant.
it may be some time until iran has enriched enough uranium to build even one nuclear weapon, let alone the arsenal that they would need to destroy israel.
unfortunately, yesterday their supreme leader asked all muslim countries, shi’a and sunny, to invade israel together. h’y’r.
i fear that the time is coming for someone to stop iran, and america will not make the first move. they will push for sanctions until israel feels the need to attack and let israel do the dirty work.
