In an interview on Feb. 7th with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, Sarah Palin was asked how difficult does she believe it will be to defeat President Barak Obama in the 2012 election.
PALIN: It depends on a few things. Say he played—and I got this from Buchanan, reading one of his columns the other day – say he played the war card. Say he decided to declare war on Iran or decided really [to] come out and do whatever he could to support Israel, which I would like him to do, but – that changes the dynamics in what we can assume is going to happen between now and three years. Because I think if the election were today I do not think Obama would be re-elected. But three years from now, things could change if — on the national security front . . .
WALLACE: But you’re not suggesting that he would cynically play the war card?
PALIN: I’m not suggesting that. I’m saying if he did, things would dramatically change. If he decided to toughen up and do all that he can to secure our nation and our allies, I think people would, perhaps, shift their thinking a little bit and decide, “Well, maybe he’s tougher than we think he’s—than he is today,” and there wouldn’t be as much passion to make sure that he doesn’t serve another four years.
Palin added that if he continues on the path he is running America today, he will not win. He is not listening to the people.

With all due respect to Sarah Palin, I don’t think this President should attack Iran. I don’t trust him for a minute with our national security. The rules of engagement that our troops have to deal with in Iraq and Afghanistan is insane and suicidal.

he has ordered more drone attacks in pakistan during his one year on office than bush did during his entire 8 years
the idea that starting a war in iran would win obama the presidency in 2012 is absurd, but not because of national security issues…but because it would just be another war of choice that would continue this country towards the road to bankruptcy
bacci40,nothing you have listed can be classified under the definition of rules of engagement. But, with members of my family who were at one time served in the military, I may know more than you have gray matter in your entire brain. So, the next time you try to insult me, you goon, please make sure you have your local union head available to wipe the tears from your eyes.

I am afraid it is you who are doing the insulting. Just because someone disagrees with you or even questions your expertise about something, does not mean he is a goon.

So Obama increased troop strength to 30,000.
What is not mentioned is that the general Obama appointed to oversee the Afghanistan military theater, has asked Obama for a necessary 40,000 a full 10,000 more then Obama finally gave him after waiting over 3 months to make the decision.
And fighting agaisnt Americans enemies is far from the cause of the downward spiral into bankruptcy and third worldism.
The causes are from constant attacks on business and the very idea that someone has the right to put in their hard work and blood and sweat and tears into building a business which G-d willing will finally earn them a profit.
The minute they have a few dollars they are attacked as “the greedy rich”.
The idea of allowing all illegal aliens to come here and get free medical and dental health care when citizens like me can’t get such things at any reasonable price because the government for the last 150 years has been far too interfering into the business world, is the cause of our down fall.
Over taxation and overregulation and excessive lawsuits are what is destroying the goose that once laid the Golden Egg.

How does bacci40 who seemed to have fallen off the wagon for a while know vus titzich in your family? I think that was a major assumption on his part and we all know what happens when you assume.
I never understood what makes people think just because I didnt serve in the military, that my comments are worthless. Is it my fault I didnt serve? NO!
There are other areas as well where people think they are mumcha on something. Take sports as an example. You have nutcases on the radio all night giving their drosha based on the fact that they are a season ticket holder. Its a shtuss! I probably forgot more about sports than they ever knew!
