The FDNY was called to a fire at Cafe Venezia in Flatbush on Wednesday morning.
The fire started around 9:15AM, on the first day of Chol Hamoed Sukkos.
Cafe Venezia is a well-known Kosher restaurant in Flatbush, located on Coney Island Avenue between Avenue J and Avenue K [at the corner of Cary Court].
Thick flames and smoke were seen coming from the establishment.
The FDNY was seen cutting the stores gates, implying that the store may have been closed at the time.
No one was reported injured in the blaze, but Flatbush Hatzolah was on the scene as a precaution.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
