The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video in regards to an assault that occurred in Flatbush within the confines of the 61 Precinct. Although this incident occurred exactly one week ago, the NYPD has asked for the public’s assistance first today.
According to police, on Friday, September, 23, 2016, at 12:35PM, the two victims, a 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old male were in front of 1609 Avenue R when the individuals approached them from behind, punched the male and took both victims cellphones. The individuals fled the location eastbound on Avenue R. The victims did not sustain any injuries.
Individual 1: male, White, approximately 21-22 years of age, 5’10” tall, 185 lbs., last seen wearing a black shirt and dark pants.
Individual 2: female, White, approximately 22-years of age, 5’7″ tall, 160lbs., long black hair, last seen wearing red shirt and white shorts.
