Acting on a tip, police and veterinary inspectors raided a business in Mishor Adumim, the industrial zone adjacent to Maale Adumim. They quickly learned their information was accurate as they found an illegal poultry slaughterhouse operation.
Inspectors confiscated 500kg. of meats which passed the expiration date and no longer fit for consumption. The tainted meats have been destroyed.
The team then visited a bakery, finding many violations. Two tons of baked products were destroyed by the Health Ministry, which issued a closure order until such time the bakery can pass inspection.

Shouldn’t we be allowed to know which bakery so that we could be proactive and know to double-check before buying the baked goods we eat, consume from that establishment? It’s for our safety!

The article doesn’t say whether this was a kosher schlachthois and if so, which hashgacha was providing supervision (if any).
