Lake Kinneret, the nation’s primary source of drinking water, reportedly rose 108 centimeters (42.5 inches) since the start of the rain season. The Kinneret measures at -213.35. (It should be pointed out the Kinneret rose 106cm all of last rain season). The measurement furnished by Boaz Dayan, reported in the daily HaMevaser, is unofficial and taken prior to Sunday’s announced return to work by Water Authority employees following a two-month strike.
Officials are hopeful that weather forecasts predicting significant rainfall for the duration of the winter are true. Meteorologists predict rainfall towards week’s end and snowfall in high elevation areas in the north.

Mr. Levin, you are so nice.
I thought the Kineret was below the normal levels. Does anyone know what is considered the normal water depth of the Kineret?

You are right. The kinneret has been below normal levels for several years. So much so, that they authorities have continually been lowering the so-called red-line which is an indication of when they must reduce consumption.
Mark its from the same sorce but we have extra that we dnt mind to share
Yikes, read the article. The Kinneret is 213.35 cm below where it should be or normal level. #1 is joking about the Canadian side. Being from the U.S., I agree!
