An Israeli truck driver sustained light-to-moderate gunshot injuries after security forces at the northern Jerusalem Kalandia Checkpoint opened fire at him Sunday evening.

According to the truck driver, he was fleeing the area after he was targeted by Arabs throwing rocks and simply did not realize he arrived a the checkpoint.

When he failed to halt for inspection, security forces opened fire, striking him in a shoulder. He was transported to a Jerusalem hospital.
