A prominent member of the Kennedy family says former Republican President George H.W. Bush told her that he plans to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton for president this fall.
Former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Kennedy Townsend posted a picture of herself with Bush on Facebook Monday and added, “The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!” Townsend later confirmed the conversation she had while meeting Bush in Maine to Politico, which shared a screengrab of the Facebook post.
Bush’s spokesman, Jim McGrath, says in a statement that the 92-year-old former president’s vote is private and Bush isn’t commenting on the race. McGrath later said on Twitter that he’s “still checking” if anyone was there to verify Townsend’s conversation.

Bush is not alone. Republican Senators like Lindsey Graham, Ben Sasse, Jeff Flake, Mark Kirk, Ted Cruz and Governors past and present like George Pataki, Christie Todd Whitman and John Kasich all realize that Trump is a real danger and therefore they will do the morally correct thing and put country over party and never vote Trump.
BTW for all those that will jump to conclude that he is just a sore loser because Jeb lost to the Donald please keep in mind that it was Bush himself that lost his reelection to the clintons in 1992. This is a huge step for him to take but it is the act of a true American patriot.

They also believe that Hillary would be a better president than Trump, and would be more effective in promoting Republican values than Donald Duck.
After he wins the election, Donald Duck will learn about how the government spends billions of dollars to pay for food, housing, education, healthcare, etc for many poor people. He’ll say, “What?! Those pathetic failures are not what America is about!! The first step towards making American great again is to stop supporting losers!” And in an instant, so many people we know that count on food stamps, rent subsidies, EITC, medicaid, etc, will see their lifelines dry up.
