Donald Trump’s campaign said he believes President Obama was born in the US, a major reversal from his attacks he made five years ago.
Trump spokesman Jason Miller released the following statement moments ago:
“Hillary Clinton’s campaign first raised this issue to smear then-candidate Barack Obama in her very nasty, failed 2008 campaign for President. This type of vicious and conniving behavior is straight from the Clinton Playbook. As usual, however, Hillary Clinton was too weak to get an answer. Even the MSNBC show Morning Joe admits that it was Clinton’s henchmen who first raised this issue, not Donald J. Trump.
In 2011, Mr. Trump was finally able to bring this ugly incident to its conclusion by successfully compelling President Obama to release his birth certificate. Mr. Trump did a great service to the President and the country by bringing closure to the issue that Hillary Clinton and her team first raised. Inarguably, Donald J. Trump is a closer. Having successfully obtained President Obama’s birth certificate when others could not, Mr. Trump believes that President Obama was born in the United States.
Mr. Trump is now totally focused on bringing jobs back to America, defeating radical Islamic terrorism, taking care of our veterans, introducing school choice opportunities and rebuilding and making our inner cities safe again.”

Ten minutes of research will surprise you: it was back in the 2008 primary that the birthed suggestion was made. And it originated with a staff memo WITHIN THE CLINTON campaign. Yes, seriously.
We now know, thanks to leaked emails, how much the Clintons hated Obama. Wouldn’t even call him by name but only “that man”. Yes, seriously. See, you need to understand what a racist she actually is. She herself didn’t say it, but the campaign created it to try to run poor Baraq Hussein Obama, just like they tried to use Bernie’s religion against him (unsuccessfully).
In any case, the birther thing didn’t start with trump, it started from Hillary’s campaign. Within the campaign. Racists within. All verified.

It’s like just before the prisoners’ time is up for release he gets aquitted for the crime he never did. At this point, honestly who cares. He got his wish fulfilled twice around, now let him leave. Even if there’s proof he was born elsewhere it wouldn’t help anyone. Too late.

It takes about 2 minutes of truthful research to see that neither Hillary or her campaign ever said such a thing. Obama was born here just as well as Abraham Lincoln, those who said different were attempting to deligitimize the first black President.
At this point, who cares?? The Trumpkopfs will believe anything he says. He could turn-around at the debate next week and claim he has “new evidence” that Obama was actually born in Berditchever from a prominent Chassidish family and Bill Clinton fathered several illegitimate children with Hilary’s knowledge. The point is that his supporters have suspended reality and simply “don’t care” about truth/lies/rationality or otherwise. They are anarchists wrapped in American flags who want to blow up the system and start over again and are willing to trust Trump to figure out what that new system in Washington should be.
