While recent election polls may release varying results, one of the consistent variables is the Yesh Atid party continues climbing the ladder of success. The poll was conducted by the Geocartography Institute poll for Channel 1 News.
According to the latest Channel 1 poll, MK Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid party would earn 27 seats in Knesset, a significant increase from its current 11 seats. In a recent Channel 2 poll, Lapid’s party earned 24 seats.
The poll released on motzei Shabbos 7 Elul shows that Lapid would head the largest party, concurring with last week’s Channel 2 poll, as Likud would drop from its current 30 seats to a mere 23. Shas is also hit hard, dropping to a mere four seats.
Numbers in parenthesis reflect a party’s seats in current Knesset
Yesh Atid 27 (11)
Likud 23 (30)
Arab Bloc 13 (13)
Bayit Yehudi 11 (8)
Machane Tzioni 11 (24)
Yahadut Hatorah 9 (6)
Yisrael Beitenu 9 (6)
Meretz 7 (5)
Kulanu 6 (10)
Shas 4 (7)
It is also pointed out that if Shas receives four, this is the minimum threshold for entering Knesset so it is on the border of being excluded from the next Knesset.
