The Beersheva District Court on Monday handed down a 13 year prison term on Hamas terrorist Muhmad Bahvaza, who was found guilty of conspiring to abduct IDF soldiers. He stood at the head of the cell that planned to enter Israel via an Egyptian border crossing, abduct soldiers and knock them out using anesthetizing drugs, and then take them to Hamas-controlled Gaza via a smuggling tunnel.
While the cell did succeed in entering Israel, the terrorists were Baruch Hashem apprehended near a Negev area kibbutz.
