Minister of Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein meet with United Nations Secretary-General Bank ki-Moon in New York City where he is attending events connected to International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Edelstein made reference to the Goldstone Report, the comprehensive report filed by Justice Richard Goldstone, who was acting as an emissary of the United Nations, reporting on Israeli ‘war crimes’ and ‘violations of international law’ during Operation Cast Lead, Israel’s 2008 three-week counter-terrorism offensive to halt rocket fire into southern Israel. Edelstein explained the report lends legitimacy to anti-Semitism and increased hatred of Israel.
Israel is in the process of preparing the official response to the one-sided report, a report that was prepared without Israeli cooperation or participation. Israeli officials indicated that it was clear from the outset of the so-called fact-finding mission that Goldstone and his colleagues had reached their decision before arriving in Gaza, and their tour of the area was just a formality in the hope of lending an air of legitimacy to the pro-Hamas agenda.
Israel is aware that the report may have harsh ramifications since the UN approved the report, and may chas v’sholom lead to sanctions against Israel in the Security Council as Justice Goldstone brazenly announced that he did everything he could to tune down the anti-Israel severity of the report.

This vile pack of lies by Goldstone, has already done irreparable damage to Israels image and to Jews in general.
The nazilibs are gleefully using it to claim “see even Jews like Goldstone admit how evil Jews are”.
While Israel should respond and debunk each and every lie and false accusation as well as dig into Goldstones psyche and personal history and
expose his biases and any previous expressions of hatred for Israel or for Jews in general or for the Jewish religion;
They should understand that anything anyone does to tell the truth will be called a “cover up” and “part of a Jewish plot to hide the truth”.
The factual errors in this “news article” are appalling…
The Goldstone Report is not one sided, Palestinian militant groups were found to have committed war crimes and possible crimes against humanity.
Perhaps the author and the editor should actually read the report?
Israel has already admitted to the charges made by the UN, did you not cover the $10.5 million in restitution? That alone lends credence to the Goldstone Report.
The Goldstone Mission practically begged Israel to cooperate. Richard Goldstone succeeded in having the mandate broadened, yet still Israel refused to defend itself.
That’s not exactly the stance of a nation that has clear evidence to refute the findings in the report.
