Clinton adviser Huma Abedin announced Monday that she was separating from her husband, former congressman and onetime New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner.
Former congressman and onetime New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has deleted his Twitter account.
The erstwhile politician’s normally active Twitter disappeared from the social media network Monday morning, hours after the New York Post reported that he was again sending inappropriate messages and photos.
Weiner’s congressional career was derailed when he did the same thing in 2011. He initially denied it all but later admitted to his actions before resigning from Congress.
Without shame, Weiner attempted to re-enter the political fray in 2013 as a candidate for New York City mayor and briefly polled as the leading Democratic candidate that summer. But Weiner revealed that he had done the same thing again and his candidacy floundered. He lost the Democratic mayoral primary with less than 5 percent of the vote.
Weiner is the husband of Huma Abedin, a longtime political adviser to Hillary Clinton. She currently serves as the vice chairwoman of Clinton’s presidential campaign.
There are those who have long questioned Weiner being Jewish, but YWN spoke to Weiner’s mother in 2010 where she stated that she is unequivocally Jewish.
While running for Mayor, Weiner had an explosive moment with a Frum voter in Boro Park.

The video shows Wiener expressing the classic liberal belief of moral equivalence. In other words there is no good or evil everyone can do as they please and no one can “judge” them, i.e. criticize them. Just wondering if Wiener disapproved of Hitler and his actions after all who is he to judge, is he Hitler’s ym’s, God?
To Uncle Ben, comment no. 1: Did you pick your screen name because someone told you you have rice for brains? If so, then, FYI, that guy was not paying you a complement.
Mr. Wiener has a serious problem, and he should stay out of the public eye, and probably all the private eyes as well. His name fits him the way “Uncle Ben” fits you.
And I can assure you that there is nothing “liberal” about his argument with the guy in the video, just a lot of self-serving nonsense.
And, further, do we have to invoke Hitler in so many arguments that have nothing to do with … Hitler, Y”M.
And one more thing: This story is getting a lot of attention. Mr. Wiener was a public figure until he lost his bid for New York City mayor in 2013, and I think he was an occasional columnist in the last year or so in the New York Daily News. But as far as I know, he has nothing to do with the Clinton campaign, and so far, nobody sensible has suggested that Ms. Clinton should fire a top aide – Huma Abedin, wife of Mr. Wiener – because her husband has a shameful problem that he evidently cannot control.
As for Ms. Clinton’s husband, he apparently has gotten his problem under control.
Hopefully, this is the last we will see or hear of from this perverted drech. Hopefully, both campaigns will focus on real issues and restrain themselves from commentary on the personal lives of the candidates’ staff. There is enough to dislike about both candidates themselves, without dredging up their staff’s issues. I don’t understand why she stayed him the first time, and now three times later it seems bizarre.
His record speaks for itself. He subscribes to whatever the physical pleasure of the moment may be, and there is no moral authority that he accepts. This arrogance, together with his disease of immoral cravings ended his political career. In retrospect, the Jewish community expected that he would be a staunch advocate for some of the causes that would be beneficial. None of that happened. he is way too busy with his own hedonistic pursuits. And it is this that eventually snared him.
Does he have Ahavas Yisroel? Not exactly detectable in his record. His wife, who may have once loved him, might have had some.
Such a weird name
I think his problems started when he married a muslim.
Typical arrogant liberal politician, who, in the Clnton mold, thought he could get away with anything.
Anthony, when you go out and ask people to vote for you, you are asking them to judge you. That is exacyltly what it is and there anyone, even the lowest of the low, has the right to judge you and find you unfavorable.
Everyone lost the main point here, referring to the video.
Yes, he has a right to judge!!! Sometime running for public office IS literally putting themselves up for judgment. In this case, plenty of people found him not worthy of public office.
I also found it disgusting he spoke with his mouth full. Ugh! GROSS!
